Free Valet Bicycle Parking at the Longmont Farmers' Market starting May 31st 2014 going through October 18th 2014
Bicycle Longmont has established a free valet bicycle parking area at the Longmont Farmers' Market, Saturdays from 8 AM until 1 PM, at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. The Bike Valet allows cyclists to come on down to the Market by bike and have their ride looked after while they shop. There is little existing bike racks at the Market, so Bicycle Longmont brings in racks for 150+ bikes each Saturday.
We also have a lot of info on area rides, trail and road maps from the City, County, and across the State, can help you with tune-up or bike gear questions, and have a few items for sale, like Bicycle Longmont t-shirts and G'Knight Ride registrations.
The service started in 2010 and was a great success, parking over 1,200 bikes during that time. Last year, we more than doubled that number, parking 2,500+ bikes! We're always looking for additional volunteers that would like the opportunity to help with this great service in 2014.
- checking bikes in and out
- handing out free bicycling information to those interested.
- chatting with fellow cyclists about bicycling experiences around Longmont
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact email@example.com and let us know which available time slot works best for you. We're happy to have volunteers for future dates as well, as we get commitments we'll update this page.
