Speaking of commuting, I rode down the newly opened 119 bypass this 
morning. $23 million buys a very nice  highway for commuting into town: 
wide shoulders, easy access, great view of the Indian Peaks (until the 
Big Box stores start going up).  If you're driving a car, don't speed: 
there are cops everywhere pulling people over. A complete report with 
photos (and maybe a little video) should be available by this weekend.

The Greenway hasn't been started, but it appears some grading for part 
of the path has been done. I explored a little bit beneath the St. Vrain 
bridge on 119. My skinny 25 mm road slicks aren't compatible with mud so 
I didn't go very far, but for the MTB'ers on this list it looks like 
there might be some opportunity for exploring the dirt roads paralleling 
the St. Vrain. This part of the St. Vrain is much prettier than the 
portion near, say, Boston Avenue.
