I don't know what else is on the agenda, but I think it's time to
start thinking about bicycling promotion activities for the coming
spring.

June is Colorado Bike To Work month. I don't know when BTWD is in 2005
and I can't find that information on the DRCOG website but I've
emailed an inquiry to them. In concert with the breakfast stations run
by the city we need to have something to identify and encourage those
who bike commute on BTWD. I've been super busy so I don't have any
ideas right this second, but a brainstorming session or two would be
helpful, IMO.

Lauren had a table last May to promote BTWD at the Farmer's Market.
Lauren, would you e up to doing something like that again in 2005?

Ryan has done a great job with his "Bike Night" to promote regular ol'
cycling. He printed posters for the bike shops to display and the
people showed up. He made it happen.

How about a destination-of-the-month contest? Pick a destination (the
Rotary Club Bridge where the Lefthand & St. Vrain Greenways connect,
for example), and people submit a photo of themself with bike there to
enter a drawing. Winner gets a free trip to Fiji or something or at
least a gift certificate to a local resaurant. For June, the
destination-of-the-month is Your Workplace. Just an idea...

See you all Tuesday night.
