Thanks for the additional information, Steve.

A request from this Lefthand Trail user: When this closure occurs can
there be a sign at SH119 indicating this closure? I'd rather cross Main
St. at the signalized crossing on Ken Pratt than the unprotected
crossing on Quail Road. If this can be done reasonably then great; if
not then I understand.

If there any bird lovers on this list, the Lefthand Creek between Main
St. to the St. Vrain is filled with the cacaphony of all kinds of
songbirds. There's an eagle who hangs out in a couple of the old trees
on the north bank of the creek; several ducks floating around with their
soft quacking, and of course the ubiquitious hoards of geese making
their contributions on the trail. This morning and Sunday afternoon I
saw a Little Blue Heron in the creek. I can't say enough about the good
job the city has done in restoring this section of the creek.

Where *is* this Bonus Ditch? How far east of Main is this? Is this the
headgate near the path on the new Ken Pratt (sorta near the sewage plant)?

Once again, thanks Steve!

P.S. Does anyone know anything about the bicyclist killed in Lafayette
Monday night?
