Thanks for the info, Nenad. I'll try to be there for
the first part of the meeting, but I have to skedaddle
before 7:30. Bummer about not being able to bring the
bikes inside anymore!

On my mind:

1. Rhythm on the River. There were *thousands* of
people there, including zillions of bikes all over the
place. Is there any chance of getting with whoever did
the bike rodeo and having information about Bicycle
Longmont? I handed out a couple of Bike Longmont cards
and spoke with people about cycling around town. The
*vast* majority of people I speak with about cycling
want more interconnected off-street paths.

2. Help Lauren get the word out about BikeEd.

3. A round of applause is in order for Ryan Kragerud
and organizing the Wednesday Bike Night.

4. The Longmont Criterium is this weekend.

5. Pedestrian Issue: Twin Peaks Mall is doing a much
better job this year in keeping the sidewalk by Burger
King clean. They still have problems with standing
water, but at least they're scooping up the leaves and
grass so the sidewalk is walkable. Several people have
griped to them in the past so somebody should probably
send a note of commendation to them this year.

6. I've previously posted some Bike To Work Day
thoughts which you can read at
http://picek.bicyclelongmont.org/pipermail/bike/2004-June/000248.html

7. I think the Multi Modal Transport Steering
Committee has had its first meeting, hasn't it?
Perhaps some thoughts from Craig Smith about this.
