I heard back from the Boulder County Clerk office. "Lana" faxed me the
offices coming up for election this year. I have to visit the county
clerk to look at the candidates who have filed so I'll try to do that
tomorrow.
Locally, County Commissioner for District #1 and County Commissioner for
District #2 are up for election. District 2 encompasses Longmont,
Lyons, and points west to the Divide; while District 1 covers Ward,
Jamestown, Nederland, and part of Boulder. Should I get information for
District 1 candidates?
All State House districts are up for election. In the State Senate,
Districts 17 & 18 are coming up for election -- Senate District 17
encompasses most of Longmont, while District 18 gerrymanders along the
western and northern edges of Longmont.
Here are the other offices coming up for election and the incumbent.
Many area descriptions are approximations; for example, I live south of
Mountain View, but I'm in House District 11.
CU Regent At-Large: James A. Martin
RTD Director District I (Longmont, Erie, Broomfield): Mary Blue
Senate District 17 (Longmont): Terry Philips
Senate District 18 (west of Longmont): Ron Tupa
House District 10 (southwest Longmont): Alice Madden
House District 11 (west and north Longmont): Jack Pommer
House District 12 (Longmont east of Main St & south of Mtn View):
Paul Weissman
District Attorney District 19 (Weld County): A.M. Dominguez, Jr
District Attorney District 20 (Boulder County): Mary T. Keenan
Court of Appeals (6 members)
District Judge District 19 (Weld County): (2 members)
District Judge District 20 (Boulder County): (3 memebers)
Boulder County Judges (3 members)
Did we get the questionaire hammered out?
