[BikeLongmont] Possible meeting place

Hello All .

 

I'm pleased to report a possible meeting place for us.  It would be
available on Tuesdays on a regular basis without the need to make a separate
reservation each month.  Got a call from Angelique Herran a few days ago.
Angelique works at Mentor Graphics and volunteered to talk with them about
hosting our monthly meeting in one of their conference rooms.  Today they
have agreed to do this!   Their facility is at 1811 Pike Road near the FRCC
campus.  They will require that Angelique or another co-worker be in
attendance at the meeting.

 

I would like for us to consider this option along with the others at our
meeting at the Library next Tuesday.  This would give us an opportunity to
work directly with a large employer, which has been somewhat of a missing
constituency in our group.  According to Angelique, Mentor Graphics is very
proactive with bike and pedestrian access issues and has many employees who
bike to work regularly.   Angelique will attempt to be at our Nov meeting,
but has another meeting which may conflict with it.  If we decide on this,
we could start meeting at Mentor Graphics on 14 Dec.
