Hello Everyone .

Just a reminder that there is a public input meeting of the Longmont
Multi-Modal Transportation committee on Thursday 2 Dec. The meeting is
scheduled from 6:30 to 9:00 PM at the Longmont Senior Center.

You are all cordially invited to attend and contribute your thoughts and
ideas. The last I knew, the exact format of the meeting was still
undecided, but rest assured it will be structured so that your ideas will be
heard. Some questions to start you thinking:

What are the major "hubs" or "nodes" in the Longmont area that you want to
access by bike (or other transportation methods)?

How convenient and safe is it to bicycle these routes today?

What new bike oriented routes would you recommend?

What changes in the above do you foresee 20 years from now?

I've emphasized biking in this note since it is addressed to you folks. But
other modes of transport such as automobiles, pedestrian, RTD and FasTracks
are equally a focus of this meeting, and your ideas in these areas are
certainly also welcome.

This will be the last public comment session for the Multi-Modal task force
before we meet to formulate our final recommendations.

Enjoy the turkey tomorrow!

         Best Regards

                             . Craig
