[BikeLongmont] Last Bike Night - tonight

Greetings All,

Tonight will be the last Bike Night of the season. We will resume Bike
Night next spring. Despite tonight being the last ride there WILL be a
costume ride on Sunday at 3pm. I've attached  a PDF describing the event.
Recently i sent out an email saying this ride would take place at Rogers
Grove please disregard that email. The ride will start at 3pm at Roosevelt
Park.

I hope everyone enjoyed the rides. Bike Night brought together a wide and
varied cross section of Longmont. From hard core roadies to weekend
warriors, people turned off the TV and got out and met eachother on bikes.
I think the rides were very successful. Over 180 people  took part.
Hopefully next summer this number will be doubled.

Next year will be even better. I have a desire to organize a "Longmont
Bikefest" complete with a midnight ride and bike contest. Who knows - It's
all fun and games.

Lastly I'd like to thank Bicycle Longmont for supporting the Wednesday Bike
Night, without your participation Bike Night might have fallen flat. Buzz
Feldman, thanks to you for sending the word out to your customers. 60% of
the folks who rode heard about it through you or your store's website. Acme
Bike, thanks for promotting the inaugural year. Trevor Hughes at the
Times-Call for covering Bike Night - thanks for accompanying the ride and
printing the stories! And finally, to everyone thank you very much.
