Hello all .
I was actually thinking along the same lines, Craig, and I thought it would
be a good way to meet some people who can't usually make the meetings also.
And I thought, if I was Joe Somebody and an invite arrived for a casual get
together, would I be all that interested in showing up and mingling with a
lot of people that I don't know?
I guess we need to decide if the event is to be a "marketing" thing with the
intent of attracting new people. I would be quite satisfied if just the
"regulars" from Bike Longmont and the City got together with spouses & SOs
with absolutely no promotional agenda. Agenda would be to relax, enjoy a
drink/meal together and to get to know each other better. I'm very much in
favor of Lauren's idea of 26 May at Lefthand Brewery and keeping the
arrangements as simple as possible.
By all means, let's hear from others on the list before deciding on format.
It could very well be that most people would prefer a more elaborate event
with the intent of attracting as many people as possible.
