[BikeLongmont] Old Time Religion

I converted my old CroMo steel bike into a fixed gear tonight. I
removed the derailers, put on a fixed-gear wheel that High Gear built
for me, and tried her out tonight, just taking the bike out for a
quick ride down the street.

Oh boy oh boy, is this thing FUN! Discovered a few things:

* I hit about 15 mph and tried to stop pedaling out of habit. The bike
literally launched me right off of my saddle! I managed to stay
upright :-)

* I rode with sneakers on platform pedals to keep it easy. The
shoelaces got caught up in the chainring. There is no backpedaling to
undo entanglements -- things get caught and they rip.

I can't wait to take it out on a long ride.
