[BikeLongmont] bike to work day

I am back from my three week trip and getting caught up. I saw a riotous
time was had by all on May meeting (Richard is right, I don't really
mind my signature being forged to bail Buzz out of jail). Perhaps I
should leave more often?
You may have noticed that the BL server was down for a week or so - the
guy I asked to keep an eye on it forgot. I'll be investing in an UPS
unit, since a momentary interruption in power was what shut us down and
I don't want this to happen the next time I am gone.
I have updated the Bike to Work Day page on the website
(http://www.bicyclelongmont.org/btwd/index.html), based on Lauren's
message. I'll be adding more info to the page as it becomes available.
We have so many breakfast stations that I am seriously tempted to skip
work that day - hit all the breakfast stations in the morning and then
just continue to the Happy Hour stations.
Let me remind you all that the BTWD kickoff is this Tuesday, 5-7:30 at
the Pumphouse - come along and meet other BL folks.
Regards, Nenad
...your friendly Bicycle Longmont coordinator...
P.S.
Had a great time on the trip. I was happy to note that even in Clyde
River, Baffin Island (-50 wintertime temps, polar bears wandering into
town), they have bike racks in town, even if they are old wheelbenders.
When we were coming out, the streets were melting and muddy, but I could
already see some kids riding.
In the regional paper (Clyde River has population below 1000, so no
local paper), they asked Inuit kids what they liked about Spring, and
one answer mentioned getting on a bike.
