75th Street is being widened from the Diagonal up to SH66. Is this the
work your friend noticed?

The LoBo trail. No funding or any real planning AFAIK.

I asked CDOT about the the 52/119 interchange project recently and
here's the response I received:

I wish I had more concrete information for you about the timing of this
project. Unfortunately, we are currently in a situation of dynamic
funding conditions. As of right now, the construction funding for this
project is unknown. It is not in the current Statewide Transportation
Plan through 2009.

However, the design phase of the project is fully funded and we are
currently working on completing the plans. This project is of high
priority to the Region and is included in our Region Shelf Plan to have
ready to go in case new funding is made available. Future funding
changes is something we deal with on a continuing basis.
