Info from Boulder County regarding the SH-52 underpass:

"Boulder County is constructing the underpass with County Sales Tax revenue
as part of the LOBO Trail that will run from Jay Road to North 83rd Street.
We plan to have the underpass constructed this spring with the City of
Boulder and Boulder County trail connections completed by August, weather
and prairie dogs permitting."

Hi,

I returned from my trip Monday evening and am slowly catching up. Yes,
we'll have the meeting Tuesday. As Buzz said, we have a lot to talk about.

On a related topic, I rode to work yesterday and today and the underpass at
Airport/119 has been nicely cleaned - much better than the previous jungle
with a narrow passage through dry plants! Thanks, Len, for  passing my
concerns on.

A guy at work told me there seems to be some bike-type construction in
vicinity of CO52 east of Niwot. I know there is a plan to connect Boulder
to Longmont using paths and low volume roads. Does anybody know if they are
building CO52 overpass or underpass for bikes?
