[BikeLongmont] Underpass at Pike

Morning and I hope all who rode had a great and safe ride,
I am wondering what is going on at the greenway underpass at Pike? I use this a commuting path almost everyday and the other day I was cruising along and wham, the path was blocked off. Was this an emergency? If not, maybe the city could post this on the website or better yet on a sign near the underpass, so people can choose to find an alternate route. Also, today I came that way it looked open, i.e. not barricades on either side, so I went down and again, it is still closed. Did the city move the barricades or is it just some of Longmont's inactive youth? Is there an ETA on this work being finished? Pike is not an easy or friendly stret to cross at rush hour.
