Dear Bicycle Longmont-

 

Preparations are well underway for the Griffith Centers for Children’s
12th Annual Road Ramble, sponsored by CoBiz, Inc.  We would like to
invite your cycling club to participate in our event benefiting troubled
youth and their families.

 

Griffith Centers for Children provides treatment and education for
children who have suffered from some form of abuse or maltreatment.  For
78 years, our mission has been to help these children and families out
of destructive cycles and onto the road to productive, healthy lives. 
This cycling event helps raise the dollars necessary to provide the
quality care and treatment these kids need and deserve.

 

The Road Ramble begins and ends in Larkspur, Colorado, on Sunday August
28th.  The course winds through the beautiful countryside around Palmer
Lake, Monument, and Black Forest.  From the recreational rider to the
serious cyclist, we offer four routes of 12, 34, 66 and 100 miles.  The
ride is fully supported with numerous aid stations providing food, water
and mechanical assistance.  A post-ride party with music, food,
entertainment and prizes will top off a fun and rewarding day.

 

We would like to send your Club additional information regarding the
options for participating as a team, an individual or a sponsor, and if
you have regular meetings we would love to attend and spend 4-5 minutes
sharing our vision.  

 

Your involvement will contribute greatly to the success of our ride and
its impact on our children and families.  I welcome your questions by
email or telephone, and will follow up with you in the next couple of
weeks.  I hope that you will be able to join us in making our 12th
Annual Road Ramble a success.
