> Attention Boulder County Cyclists ---------------------------------------------------
>
> Work on Lefthand Canyon Drive and 73rd/75th has reached the final stages of construction. These final stages are likely to present the greatest inconvenience and may be hazardous to cyclists. Boulder County strongly recommends that cyclists seek other routes during the times listed below.
>
> * Lefthand Canyon Drive - Olde Stage Road to James Canyon Drive: The application of the final pavement layer is currently underway and is expected to continue through Saturday, May 21. All traffic will be reduced to a single lane with uneven surfaces along the entire route. Significant delays are expected. No work will be done this weekend (May 14 - May 15).
>
> * 73rd / 75th Street - Niwot Road to Hwy 66: The application of the final pavement layer is expected to begin Monday, May 23 and run through Tuesday, May 31. All traffic will be reduced to a single lane with uneven surfaces along the entire route. Significant delays are expected.
>
> Both projects are subject to delay due to weather. Please contact Tim Swope at Boulder County Transportation (tswope at co.boulder.co.us, 720.564.2658) if you have any questions about this project or its impact on bicycle use.
